💡 General Installation Tips

Before or during installation:

1. Clean the Surface: Thoroughly clean the installation area on the windshield with an alcohol wipe to ensure the static sticker and mount adhere firmly.
2. Safe Cable Routing: Videos typically show routing paths. Ensure the power cable does not obstruct the driver's view and is kept away from airbag deployment zones (usually behind the A-pillar trim and headliner).

3. Verify Power Connection: If using a parking mode hardwiring kit, it is crucial to use a circuit tester or consult a professional to correctly identify and connect to the car's ACC (ignition) and B+ (constant) fuses. The ground wire must be secured to a metal screw on the vehicle's chassis.

4. Adjust the Lens Angle: After installation, adjust the lens from the driver's seat to ensure it is level with the horizon, with the sky and ground occupying roughly 40% and 60% of the frame, respectively, for the optimal field of view.
