Step-by-Step Troubleshooting Guide
- Disable VPN Services
Temporarily turn off any VPN (Virtual Private Network) on your phone, as it can interfere with the local network connection required by the dash cam. - Reinstall the 70mai App
Uninstall the 70mai app from your device, then download and install the latest version fresh from the official App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). - Forget the Device's Wi-Fi Network
On your phone, go to System Settings > Wi-Fi, find the network name starting with â70mai_â, and select âForget This Networkâ (or equivalent). This clears any previous incorrect connection data. - Reset Your 70mai Device
Please perform a factory reset on your dash cam. (You can usually find this option within the device's own settings menu. Refer to your user manual for model-specific instructions if needed). - Restart Your Mobile Phone
Power your phone off completely, wait a moment, and then turn it back on. This refreshes the network and system processes. - Check App Permissions
Ensure the 70mai app has all necessary permissions enabled on your phone (typically found under Settings > Apps > 70mai > Permissions). This usually includes Location, Storage, and Camera access.
After completing all the steps above, please try setting up the connection from the beginning.
